    Feeding Guidelines

    Every dog is unique.

    Select your dog's weight to view their normal daily feeding amount. (The following quantities can be fed as one meal daily, or divided into two meals a day.)


    5-10 lbs
    serve 1/8 - 1/4 lbs per day

    11-16 lbs
    serve 1/4 - 3/8 lbs per day

    16-20 lbs
    serve 3/8 - 1/2 lbs per day

    20-25 lbs
    serve 1/2 - 3/4 lbs per day

    26+ lbs
    serve 3/4 lbs per day. Add 1/4 lb for each 5 lbs beyond 25 lbs

    Transitioning to Freshpet

    We always recommend transitioning slowly to Freshpet so that the change is gentle on your pet’s tummy.

    Start by feeding both freshpet and your pet’s current food, and increase the amount of freshpet every few days, while decreasing your pet’s current food.
